Created in 2022, our training centre in Madrid offers delegates exceptional facilities, including comfortable training rooms for theoretical lectures and a purpose-built wet-lab. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to make your training experience second to none.
Located at a comfortable 15-minute drive from the Madrid-Barajas airport, and with hotel accommodation nearby and plenty of parking options, accessibility and comfort are an essential part of the experience! After sessions, delegates are welcome to explore the capital, which is well known for its architectural landmarks, gastronomy, plazas, gardens, museums, streets, and nightlife – Madrid has it all, and there’s always something for everybody to enjoy.
About the Madrid centre
With a space of 600m2, our Madrid facility is composed of two surgical wet-labs and a flexibly designed room for taught lectures which allows three different configurations through its moving walls.
It is also fully equipped with cutting-edge technology to maximise learning including:
Provision of full sets of surgical instruments, power tools, and consumables, all matching the quality and standards of an operating theatre. This allows the delivery of highly realistic surgical training simulations.
A fully equipped wet-lab with up to 18 working stations. In the wet-lab, delegates are able to work using surgical stations equipped with bright operating theatre standard lighting, comfortable seating, and a wide choice of surgical equipment.
Our anatomical specimens are sourced from the United States. They are high-quality, fresh-frozen, screened for major infectious diseases, and suitable for all surgical specialities.
HD monitors at each practical station linked to both the digital X-ray machine and the lecturer’s main camera, enabling delegates to follow instructions in real time.
Smart Boards with touchscreens that allow easy access to online and offline audio-visual resources.
High-tech video cameras with auto-tracking that record and transmit high quality video and sound, allowing those who are unable to attend to have a first-class experience.
Clearly separated clean and unclean lines that never overlap, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
A small resting area which has a glass wall that allows delegates to see what’s going on inside the wet-lab easily. The main relaxation area is equipped with a mini kitchen and is perfect for taking a break or networking with fellow delegates. This is also where coffee breaks and lunch will be served.
